A strong part of my design expertise lies in editorial design, including publication layout, catalogue development, and cover design for both print and digital formats. I enjoy transforming complex research and data into well-structured, visually engaging publications, using clear typography, balanced composition, and thoughtful information hierarchy to make content accessible and impactful.
My work includes designing the Digital Economy Report – Asia Pacific for the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and contributing to global economic publications for the United Nations, including the eTrade for All Global Review on COVID-19 and E-commerce. These projects required precision, advanced editorial layout skills, and the ability to present complex economic data in a clear, professional, and internationally aligned format.
Editorial design
Every year, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) publishes regional reports presenting research and analysis on key economic and development topics. I contributed to the Asia-Pacific edition, which focused on the region’s infrastructure and connectivity.
My role included designing visually engaging graphics to enhance data visualization and handling composition, layout, and editorial design for both digital and print formats. The project required strict adherence to the United Nations brand guidelines while integrating creative and innovative design elements to make complex information accessible and visually appealing. The report was completed in December 2022 and officially published in February 2023, delivering a professional, polished publication aligned with international standards.
The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of digital solutions across economic and social sectors, making clear, accessible communication more important than ever. In mid-2020, I contributed to a UN publication and video that presented information on global digital measures in a dynamic and easily understandable format, helping audiences navigate the rapidly changing impact of the pandemic on the economy and public health.
My role included designing visual layouts, graphics, and video content to make complex information engaging and digestible, while maintaining consistency with international design standards. Although the project was completed early in the pandemic, it remains a highlight of my portfolio, reflecting the power of design as a tool for communication and its ability to support people during times of uncertainty.
